Nobody jumps higher than Mondo! Armand “Mondo” Duplantis has set eleven world records over the course of five years. In 2024, he jumped 6.25 metres at the Olympic Games in Paris before raising the bar already twice more to a record-breaking 6.27 metres.

Julien Alfred won gold in the 100 metres race at the Olympic Games in Paris. This makes her the first Olympic champion from the island nation of Saint Lucia. She ran a personal best of 10.72 seconds in the final, the fourth-fastest time ever recorded at the Olympic Games.
