Nine gold medals, fifteen silver medals and seven bronze medals were awarded to PUMA athletes in their evoSPEED NITROTM spikes at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon, USA.
On the last day of competition, PUMA athlete Mondo Duplantis put the cherry on the cake, when he broke his own pole vault world record to claim his first outdoor world title, soaring over 6.21m.
In Eugene, PUMA outfitted 12 federations: Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, the British Virgin Islands, Cuba, Jamaica, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Switzerland & Trinidad and Tobago.

The next generation of PUMA’s training shoe, the FUSE 2.0, incorporates insights from athletes and the running community for improved performance. It features a no-sew construction for enhanced durability, PUMAGrip rubber for traction, PUMAFlex metatarsal grooves for foot splay and a heel clip to minimise unwanted movement. The FUSE 2.0 made its official debut at the highest stage – the CrossFit Games 2022.
