In 2022, Mondo broke the world record three times, won the world indoor title in Belgrade, the World Championships in Eugene (with 6.21 m), and the European Championships in Munich.

2022 was an amazing year for Jamaican sprinter Shericka Jackson, as she became the fastest woman alive and second fastest woman of all time in the 200 m event. At the World Athletics Championships, she took a silver in the 100 m, gold in the 200 m, and another silver in the 4 x 100 m relay. She also became the 2022 Diamond League 200 m Champion.
